Flamboyan Kitchen is a Puerto Rican bakery, based in the Bronx, dedicated to bringing the beautiful desserts of the island to New York City. We specialize in classic Puerto Rican desserts and baked goods, baking up an array of traditional treats filled with tropical flavor. Whether you've never tasted a Puerto Rican dessert before, or you've known them your whole life, our mission is to share our love for Puerto Rican baked goods with NYC.

The idea for Flamboyan Kitchen came to our family, because of a craving for Mallorcas, a traditional Puerto Rican sweet bread. They're not something you normally see in bakeries around us, so we got in the kitchen and worked on recipes, until they came out just right. Then we realized that there were so many more pastries that we missed and wanted to see, so why not make them ourselves?
